House at Zinkwazi Beach

• This house is situated high on the hill overlooking Zinkwazi Beach on the KZN north coast.

• It is a steep site, but this was used as an advantage, to create panoramic views from all levels.

• The client’s brief was very specific and included recreational items such as a 20m lap pool, a gym, home cinema, home office and music studio.
• The house was also required to be eco-sensitive and largely “off the grid”, with rainwater collection, solar panels and passive shading all contributing to making this house fully independent of municipal services.
